Starring Mandy Moore and Shane West, this film is the story of a 16-year-old girl who falls in love with a much older man and then struggles to overcome her parents disapproval. This film's website has recently been added to Omkara Torrents because it contains an excellent quality version which can be streamed online for free. The movie is romantic drama that follows two high school students who fall in love despite their differences in age and social status. Jamie Sullivan is the head cheerleader at school, and Landon Carter is the basketball player who is widely considered one of the best players in school history. Despite their differences, Jamie and Landon fall madly in love. But soon Jamie’s parents discover their relationship, and don’t appreciate Jamie’s choice in boyfriend at all. The movie has beautiful scenery and takes place in North Carolina. The cinematography adds to the charm of this great film by making everything look very real. You can almost feel like you are part of each scene because of the amazing shots that capture everything perfectly. This movie also has an excellent cast. Jamie is played by Mandy Moore who you might recognize from her role as Jenny Humphrey on the hit series, Gossip Girl. Mandy’s job on The O.C was also very popular. She won the “Choice Liplock” award at the Teen Choice Awards with singer Jaret Reddick for their scene in which they shared a kiss. Since then, she has starred in many movies and her work has gained worldwide recognition. Her character in this movie is very well written and she does an excellent job portraying it. Shane West plays Landon Carter, Jamie Sullivan’s boyfriend (played by Sterling Knight). Sterling also appeared in the hit show Gossip Girl. He has started his acting career by appearing in several upcoming films. This movie has won several awards including several Teen Choice Awards. This is for many reasons, one of which is because of the relationship between Jamie and Landon. The love story that they share is also very strong, and well written. Another reason that the film was nominated was because of its excellent cinematography and script writing. Both are things that can take a film beyond just being entertaining, to be artful cinema - which is what this movie really is....A walk to remember...
